As we come together in 2024 on the Gold Coast, Queensland to experience the vibrant spirit of Italy, it's essential that we maintain a respectful and inclusive environment for all participants. By participating in ItaloWeek, you agree to uphold these Community Guidelines and Ethical Standards:
Respect and Appreciation
Embrace the diversity of perspectives, cultures, and backgrounds which make up our multicultural community. Treat fellow participants, event organisers, and attendees with respect, regardless of differences.
Cultural Enthusiasm
Share your passion for Italian culture, but also respect the varied interests of others. Engage in discussions, workshops, and activities with enthusiasm and a spirit of learning.
Inclusivity and Diversity
Celebrate the inclusivity which ItaloWeek represents. Engage in interactions which promote understanding and unity among participants of all ages, ethnicities, genders, and identities.
Positive Engagement
Contribute positively to discussions, workshops, and activities. Offer constructive feedback and ideas which enhance the experience for everyone involved.
Safe and Welcoming Space
Help create a safe and welcoming environment where participants feel comfortable expressing themselves. Refrain from any form of harassment, discrimination, or offensive behaviour.
Privacy and Consent
Respect the privacy of other participants. Do not share personal information without consent and avoid infringing on others' rights.
Authenticity and Truthfulness
Share information and experiences honestly. If you're sharing stories or insights, strive for accuracy and credibility. Avoid spreading misinformation or false claims.
Collaboration and Connection
ItaloWeek is an opportunity to connect and collaborate. Engage with other participants, share resources, and create memorable experiences together.
Compliance with Event Regulations

Zero Tolerance for Hate
